Pineapple Express

Hi there again, it's been a while since I posted.
This time I'll do things a bit differently,  instead of posting a deck I will be posting more of a guide on how to build it yourself.

The deck in question is Pineapple Express which I got from the forum Duelistgroundz.
It is basically a plant cat deck with the new Naturia cards from DREV, Pineapple & Bamboo Shoot.

Naturia Bamboo Shoot
*****
Earth/Plant/Effect
2000/2000
If this card is Tribute Summoned by tributing a "Naturia" monster, while this card remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot activate Spell or Trap Cards.

Naturia Pineapple
**
Earth/Plant/Effect
100/100

All face-up monsters you control are treated as Plant-Type. If this card is in your Graveyard during your Standby Phase, and you control no Spell or Trap Cards, you can Special Summon this card. This effect cannot be activated if you control a face-up "Naturia Pineapple" or if there are any monsters in your Graveyard that are not Plant or Beast-Type.

With that out of the way, now for cards & numbers.

First we have the beasts:
1x Rescue Cat
Well it's a synchro cat deck at its core.

2-3x Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter
It's a beast, mills your Pineapples and is a all-around good card.

1x Snyffus
It's a plant & beast deck, we can't go without this fellow.

2-3x X-Saber Airbellum
Level 3 beast tuner for zee cat, solid effect.

1-3x Super-Nimble Mega Hamster
Creates field advantage, searches for Ryko or a tuner for synchro summoning the next turn.

Then we have the plants:
2-3x Naturia Pineapple
The name giver of the deck. Pretty much works like a Treeborn Frog.

2-3x Naturia Bamboo Shoot
With enough protection this card can be a game winner but don't focus to much on it.

2x Lonefire Blossom
Since we want to get to our Pineapples to be live as soon as possible, this is a natural inclusion.

1-2x Dandylion
With all the milling, discarding, synching, ect. the deck does, this card and its tokens can come quite in handy.

1x Spore
The best plant tuner available in the tcg.

1x Tytannial, Princess of Camellias
With Pineapple, Lonefire and Dandylion this card is a auto-inclusion. Even tribute summoning this gal shouldn't be a problem.

Thats it for the monster lineup, now for the spells and traps:
2-3x Enemy Controller
With Pineapples/Dandylions effect and 5 tuners in the maindeck this is pretty much a staple.

2-3x Pot of Avarice
With all the milling and cat abuse this card can be live quite soon in the game. Personally I would run 2.

1x Foolish Burial
We want our Pineapples & Dandylions in the grave.

0-1x Cold Wave
Helps with big pushes.

1x Brain & Mind Control each
5 tuners + pot of avarice.

2x PWWB /or Raigeki Break
Same as Foolish Burial and protects Bamboo Shoot.

The rest should be filled with staples and personal tech choices.

Tech examples:
Behemoth the King of All Animals
Tribute Pineapple and/or Fluff token(s) and get back Rescue Cat from the grave.

XX-Saber Darksoul
Enables you to run XX-Saber Hyunlei in your extra deck.

Treeborn Frog
You just summon it before the Pineapple. Makes tribute summoning Tytannial easier.

Cactus Bouncer
Good for locking down your opponent even further after you've set up Bamboo Shoot or Naturia Beast.

Pollinosis
With Pineapples and Dandylions effect this pretty much becomes a free solemn. Also great for protecting Bamboo Shoot.

Divine Warning
More protection.

Royal Oppression
Same as Cactus Bouncer.

Spiritual Earth Art - Kurogane
Tribute Pineapple, summon zee cat!!!

As far as the extra deck goes only Naturia Beast is mandatory the rest should be filled up with staples and plant/beast type synchros like Voltic Bicorn or Splendid Rose.

Naturia Beast
*****
Earth/Beast/Synchro/Effect
2200/1700
1 EARTH Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner EARTH monsters
While this card is face-up on the field, you can send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard to negate the activation of a Spell Card and destroy it.

Ways to summon Naturia Beast in this deck:
  • Naturia Pineapple + X-Saber Airbellum
  • Super-Nimble Mega Hamster+Synffus

This is all for today, I hope it was as interesting to read as it was to write.
